Find Our Missing
Evan's Hope

Nearly 800,000 children are reported missing each year, which is approximately 2,000 children per day. According to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children, 203,000 missing children are kidnapped by family members, that's about 49 percent of all abductions.
Some children are targeted and kidnapped, by traffickers and pedophiles.
Preferential child sexual abusers are known to target pre-pubescent children, usually under the age of 12.

Human trafficking earns global profits of roughly $150 Billion per year for traffickers, $99 Billion of which comes from commercial exploitation. Globally, an estimated 71 percent of enslaved people are women and girls, while men and boys account for 29 percent.
Victims of domestic violence often fall into the hands of traffickers, as they seek help in desperation to escape their abuse. Traffickers often make initial offers of protection and love, but then further abuse an already abused individial, for financial gain.

Human Trafficking
Domestic Violence

Children 12 and older make up about 80 percent of missing and endangered children. Pre-teens and teens are especially at risk, due to the growing concerns of social media interactions with predators and traffickers.
Often, other teenagers who are victims themselves will initiate contact with a targeted minor victim, develope a friendship online and then lead them into danger... some are teenage opportunists who are working for higher-ups. Teen victims are often invited to sneak out of their homes at night to attend parties, where they are then given drugs, alchohol, and taken advantage of or forced to have sex

 Texas Missing Taskforce
Non-Government Organization

We are a group of volunteers, friends and family, who have joined together to create awareness in our communities concerning active missing person's cases and human trafficking
We do not accept donations, funding or conduct fundraising of any sort

We volunteer efforts alongside nonprofits and community based organizations that share similar interests, such as the National Center For Missing and Exploited Children, founded in 1984 by John and Reve Walsh, which serves as the national clearinghouse and resource center for information about missing and exploited children.
We assist families in filing a police report, as well as contacting The National Center For Missing and Exploited Children to provide pertinant information to the national database.

Our Allies

When a child is reported missing to law enforcement, federal law requires that child be entered into the FBI's National Crime Information Center, also known as NCIC.
The NCIC recently released its 2019 Missing Person and Unidentified Person statistics. As of December 31, 2019, the NCIC had nearly 87,500 active missing persons records. Youth under the age of 18 account for 35 percent of the records, and 44 percent of the missing persons records are people under 21.
According to the FBI, in 2019 there were 421, 394 NCIC entries for missing children.

Statistics and Reporting

Like chatrooms and other areas of the internet, predators and traffickers use social media to develope a relationship with their intended victims through false promises and coercion. Some social media victimization cases have even included offering false job opportunities...
Traffickers and predators use social media to stalk targeted minor victims, often impersonating someone using a fake profile of someone the intended victim might trust. Predators and traffickers gain intelligence on their victims by examining their posts, comments that they have made on their posts, and comments made by the victims friends on their posts.
